Van Buren?s Garrett named to all-state team
Van Buren senior Court Garrett was named Class 2A third-team all-state by the Iowa Newspaper Association.
While helping the Warriors to a 26-2 record this summer, Garrett finished the season 6-2 with a 1.24 ERA on the mound. He also struck out 83, compared to 17 walks, while tossing a team-high 50 2/3 innings.
