Cardinal downed Pekin on Monday night in Southeast Iowa Super Conference North battle 25-15, 14-25, 15-4.
Cardinal 2, Moravia 0
Cardinal put together a dominant bout against Moravia on Monday.
The Comets swept the Mohawks 25-7 and 25-10.
No. 12 Mid-Prairie 3, Durant 0
Mid-Prairie took care of business against Durant on Tuesday in a 3-0 sweep 25-13, 27-25 and 25-23.
The Golden Hawks won a lopsided first set, 25-13, but had to hold off the Wildcats in the second and third, 27-25, 25-23.
Columbus 2, Louisa-Muscatine 0
Columbus grabbed a win in a triangular at Louisa-Muscatine on Tuesday.
The Wildcats put together a solid outing against the host, winning 25-19 and 25-21.
Aracely Garza finished with seven kills for the Wildcats. Daniela Diaz had 22 assists, while Kennedy Woepking ended with 10 digs.
Pekin 2, Moulton-Udell 0
Pekin dominated Moulton-Udell in two sets on Monday at Cardinal.
The Panthers picked up a two set sweep 25-8 and 25-13.
Katelynn Schultz and Ava Gillam each had two kills.
Carlie Gambell ended with six assists.
Pekin 2, Moravia 1
Pekin won a hard-fought battle with Moravia on Monday night.
The Panthers bounced back from a 25-18 first set loss to win the next two, 25-22 and 15-13.
Paislee Coleman led Pekin with six kills. Carlie Gambell ended with 16 assists. Reece Brisby and Payten Coleman had three digs.
Hillcrest Academy 2, Lone Tree 0
Hillcrest Academy was a winner on Tuesday after dowing Lone Tree in two sets, 21-10 and 21-18.
Malia Yoder finished with nine kills for the Ravens, while Claire Withrow tallied 15 assists. Niva Helmuth and Withrow both finished with five digs. Yoder had five aces as well.
Hillcrest Academy 2, Cedar Valley Christian 0
The Ravens had no problem with Cedar Valley Christian on Tuesday at the CVCS Triangular.
Hillcrest won both sets 21-13 and 21-12.
Malia Yoder hammered home 11 kills, along with eight digs. Claire Withrow set 16 assists. Stavia Miller ended with three aces.
Highland 3, Iowa Valley 0
Highland grabbed a sweep on Monday with a 25-17, 25-20 and 26-24 win over Iowa Valley.
Hailey Brun led the Huskies with eight kills. Laney Skelton dished out 17 assists. Lilly Barre carded 21 digs.
English Valleys 2, Columbus 0
Columbus just couldn’t quite get past English Valleys in the Louisa-Muscatine triangular on Tuesday.
The Wildcats were narrowly defeated in two sets, 25-19 and 25-23.
Jessica Del Rio finished with five kills for Columbus. Daniela Diaz dished out 15 assists. Jocelyn Hernandez had 13 digs in the loss.
English Valleys 3, Keota 0
Keota was swept by English Valleys on Monday night. The Eagles gave the Bears a run, but came up short in the three sets 25-23, 25-22 and 25-14.
