Volleyball roundup: Tigers get fourth win
New London, WACO, Van Buren County, Keota and Cardinal all compete Tuesday

The Iowa high school volleyball season continues to truck along and the postseason approaches as teams are now preparing or have completed their conference tournaments.
With that being said, on Tuesday night just a handful of Union area small schools were in action.
Three competed in head-to-head matches, while two others battled it out in a four team quad.
A trio of those teams picked up victories in some form or another.
New London (4-12) 3, Central Lee (8-21) 2
New London volleyball was able to hang on against Central Lee on Tuesday evening, topping the Hawks 3-2.
The Tigers were winners in the matchup, 25-20, 23-25, 25-20, 19-25 and 15-10.
WACO (13-6) and Keota (6-9) at Lone Tree Invitational Quad
WACO and Keota both competed in the Lone Tree Invitational on Tuesday against Cedar Valley Christian and Lone Tree.
Based on released results as of now, WACO had one win in one matched played. The Warriors edged Keota after a hard-fought battle, 21-17, 17-21 and 15-11.
Along with the WACO loss, the Eagles grabbed a 2-0 win over Cedar Valley Christian, 22-20 and 21-13 and a narrow 2-1 loss to Lone Tree, 21-18, 19-21 and 15-13.
Holy Trinity Catholic (22-4) 3, Van Buren County (11-14) 1
Van Buren County was able to steal one game from HTC on Tuesday night, but the Crusaders were just too much in the 3-1 loss.
The match ended with HTC on top, 25-10, 23-23, 25-18 and 25-20.
Knoxville (18-7) 3, Cardinal (5-12) 0
Cardinal volleyball fell in three straight sets to Knoxville on Tuesday night.
The Comets were defeated 25-6, 25-8 and 25-18 in the trio of sets.
Emarie Finch led the Comets with four kills in the match. Megan Ward finished with five assists. Brinlee Ostrander led defensively with 11 digs.
