Volleyball roundup: WACO sweeps quad

Union area volleyball didn’t have many matches on Tuesday night. Out of the teams that did play, WACO was the biggest winner of the night. The Warriors won three matches.
WACO 2, Keota 0
The Warriors cruised to a win on Tuesday night against Keota.
WACO took the victory 21-7 and 21-13.
Ellah Kissell had seven kills to lead WACO. Grace Coble and Emma Wagler each had three.
Coble finished with 12 total assists.
WACO 2, Lone Tree 0
WACO had no problem with Lone Tree in the Lions quad on Tuesday.
The Warriors downed the Lions 21-10 in both of the two sets.
Ellah Kissell led with seven kills in the match. Katie Leichty finished with five. Grace Coble finished with 16 assists.
Jocelyn Fulton led with 12 digs.
WACO 2, Cedar Valley Christian 0
WACO picked up its third win of the day with a victory over the Huskies. The Warriors took the win 21-17 and 21-5.
Zoey Dennler and Emma Wagler each had four kills in the win.
Grace Coble finished with eight assists and five digs.
Knoxville 3, Cardinal 0
The Comets had a tough time with the Panthers on Tuesday night.
Cardinal was swept in the matchup, 25-12, 25-15 and 25-4.
No. 12 (Class 1A) Holy Trinity Catholic 3, Van Buren County 0
Van Buren County was topped by the No. 12 Crusaders on Tuesday.
Holy Trinity took the match in straight sets, 25-9, 25-19 and 25-16.
