W-MU boys fall at Iowa Mennonite

KALONA - The Winfield-Mt. Union boys' basketball team had a tough time in Kalona on Monday night. The Wolves fell 68-26 to Iowa Mennonite in their last regular season road game of the year.
IMS led 24-8 after one quarter and 38-8 at halftime. The Wolves played better in the second half, but IMS still won the final two quarters 30-18.
IMS had previously defeated W-MU 57-34 in December, but that game was competitive until the fourth quarter, where IMS finished the game on a 17-1 run.
The Wolves were supposed to play Mediapolis on Tuesday night, but that game was iced out. They'll be back at home to take on Lone Tree tonight (Wednesday).
