WACO senior tailback Tyler Ayers ran for two scores and also caught a touchdown pass as the Warriors blew out visiting New London 61-0 on Friday night.
Ayers rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries, and he also caught a 30-yard touchdown pass from senior quarterback Ben Fear. Fear threw three touchdown passes on the night, finding senior Aaron Barnhardt for a 42-yard touchdown catch and sophomore Tucker Janecek for a 22-yard touchdown reception.
Senior Skyler Miller, junior Cey Saeugling, junior Dylan Evans and freshman Bryce Achen also ran for touchdowns for the Warriors (6-2, 4-2 Class A District 5), who totaled 312 rushing yards and 406 total yards in the contest.
WACO?s defense, led by Saeugling?s eight tackles and interceptions by Fear and junior Dylon Carlson, shut out New London (0-8, 0-6 District 5) and limited the Tigers to just 94 total yards.
