WEST BURLINGTON - The WACO boys' basketball team picked up yet another SEISC South Division win on Friday night, and they got a little revenge in doing so. The Warriors took out West Burlington 47-34, getting vengeance after a 12-point loss to the Falcons earlier this season.
WACO led 13-7 after the first quarter and 27-19 at halftime. The two teams split the third quarter 8-8, but WACO pulled away in the fourth quarter.
Nik Coble had another huge game statistically. He led the Warriors with 12 points, 20 rebounds and five blocks.
Colton Horak and Matthew Leichty scored eight points apiece in the win. Horak led the team with six assists and three steals. Drew Kissell had seven points, and both Elijah McGohan and Braden Hammond had six.
The Warriors moved to 10-3 overall on the year and 6-3 in the South Division. They'll look to win their fifth game in a row tonight (Tuesday) against Cardinal.
