WACO goes 1-1 at New London

NEW LONDON - WACO's and New London's wrestling teams had tied in a match earlier this season at Wayland, with WACO declared the winner on the eighth tiebreaker.
Thursday at New London, the Tigers got revenge in another tightly contested dual.
Brice Crawford scored a 3-2 decision at 160 pounds for a 33-30 WACO lead, but a pin in the final match at 170 gave New London a 36-33 win.
Other WACO victors were Kade McKinney at 285 with a pin in 3 minutes, 58 seconds and Jaden Williams win by fall in 1:26.
WACO defeated Lone Tree, 54-24, in its other match with only two matches being contested. Each team won once with Williams recording a pin in 44 seconds.
