The final volleyball rankings for the 2020 season were released Monday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.
New London and Holy Trinity continued to drop in Class 1A and WACO was one of four teams in all five classes to fall out of the Top 15. Fellow Southeast Iowa Super Conference South Division member Notre Dame entered the rankings for the first time. Winfield-Mount Union's opponent tonight in postseason play is Notre Dame at W-MU while Highland travels to play Holy Trinity.
River Valley Conference members Wilton and West Branch stayed in the same spot in Class 2A and West Liberty was up a position in 3A.
Washington's possible opponent, should it defeat Benton tonight in the opening round of the postseason, is Western Dubuque, ranked fifth in Class 4A.
