WACO picks up its first win of the season
WACO defeated rival Winfield-Mt. Union 52-46 on Friday night for its first win of the season.
Sophomore Aaliyah Brown scored 16 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out six assists to lead the Warriors (1-3, 1-3 SEISC North). Sophomore Gaby Wagler added 10 points and nine rebounds.
Senior Cassie Kingery scored a game-high 17 points to lead Winfield-Mt. Union (3-2, 3-1 SEISC North).
