1. WACO boys basketball went 20-5, one game short of the state tournament last season.

2. WACO boys return Top-six scorers, including top-scorer Hunter Hughes (11.9 PPG)

3. WACO girls return Top-seven scorers, including leading scorer Ellah Kissell (18 PPG)

4. Warriors return one state-qualifying wrestler in Louden Huisenga (145 lbs.) but lost 220-pound second-place finisher Jonah Clark to graduation

5. WACO athletics rejoins SEISC North Division this year
