WACO stays in rankings

WACO entered the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union volleyball rankings last week for the first time and despite losing in the Super Conference Tournament, the Warriors fell just one spot to No. 14 in Class 1A.
Fellow SEISC South Division teams New London is ranked eighth and tournament winner Holy Trinity third, both in 1A.
South Iowa Cedar League member Belle Plaine is 12th in 1A.
In Class 2A, River Valley Conference members Wilton is second and West Branch 13 and West Liberty is No. 6 in 3A.
