WACO tops Columbus

Columbus led 14-13 after one quarter of play at WACO on Friday night, but the host Warriors dominated the final three periods to take a 58-34 Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division victory.
Senior Aaron Barnhart scored a game-high 16 points to lead WACO (3-3, 3-3 SEISC North), and senior Ben Fear added nine points. Senior Klinton Garrett scored eight points. Junior Dylon Carlson had seven points, nine rebounds and five steals in the contest, while senior Tyler Ayers had seven points, eight boards, six assists and five thefts.
Senior Edgar Rodriguez had a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead Columbus, which fell to 0-7. Junior Ricky Rivers added eight points.
