WACO volleyball drops heartbreaker
Warriors lose SEISC South matchup against Central Lee

DONNELLSON — The WACO volleyball team gave it all they could Tuesday night in a Southeast Iowa Super Conference South Division romp with Central Lee. The Warriors came back from a 2-0 deficit and nearly pulled off the win, but the Hawks narrowly hung on.
Central Lee took the first set 25-19, and the second 25-22. WACO won a thrilling third set, 28-26 and came up clutch again in the fourth, winning 25-23.
It all came down to one final set. Central Lee had just enough firepower to escape, winning 15-11.
