WACO volleyball sweeps Lone Tree quad

LONE TREE — The WACO volleyball team rolled in six-straight sets to sweep three teams at the Lone Tree quad on Tuesday. The Warriors swept Lone Tree, Cardinal and Keota.
WACO rolled to victory over Lone Tree 25-17 and 25-21. The Warriors knocked off Cardinal 21-11, 21-13 and took down Keota 21-11, 21-11.
Ellah Kissell led WACO in kills in all three games, tallying five against Lone Tree, with 13 on the day, including five each against Lone Tree and Keota.
One night after eclipsing 1,000 career assists, Grace Coble added to that total with 35 assists over the three games. Jocelyn Fulton led the squad with 19 digs.
Mid-Prairie sweeps Durant
WELLMAN — Mid-Prairie welcomed in one-win Durant and the Golden Hawks didn’t let the Wildcats gain any confidence in a three-game River Valley South Division sweep.
Durant did a little better in each set, but Mid-Prairie didn’t let the Wildcats get off the floor with a victory. Mid-Prairie won 25-14, 25-18, 25-21.
Mid-Prairie is now 7-5 overall and 2-3 in the River Valley South with the win.
