WACO volleyball swept at home by Highland
WAYLAND ? The WACO volleyball team dropped a match at home to their Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division opponent, Highland.
The Warriors fell in three straight sets: 25-21, 25-15 and 25-19.
Kaytie Horak led the Warriors with four kills; Erika Leichty, Hannah Black and Rosemary Skriver had three kills each.

WAYLAND ? The WACO volleyball team dropped a match at home to their Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division opponent, Highland.
The Warriors fell in three straight sets: 25-21, 25-15 and 25-19.
Kaytie Horak led the Warriors with four kills; Erika Leichty, Hannah Black and Rosemary Skriver had three kills each.
Leichty topped the Warriors with 13 assists and Ashlyn Hammen added five.
Horak had a team-high 13 digs, followed by Skriver with nine, Katelyn White with eight, Leichty with seven and Libby Skriver with six.
WACO is now 3-4 on the season and 0-3 in the SEISC North Division.
Next up for the Warriors is a road game against Lone Tree tonight (Thursday). WACO then has a break before hosting the first round of the SEISC Tournament in Wayland on Sept. 20.
