WACO senior Aaliyah Brown shakes hands with Des Moines Area Community College basketball head coach Steve Krafcisin as she signs her letter of intent to play basketball at the school next winter. Brown was one of five seniors to help lead WACO to one of its best seasons, averaging 12.4 points per game, 5.8 rebounds per game, to go with 27 steals and a team-high 12 blocks. Brown was a first-team all conference selection for the Warriors, who went 16-8 this season, before losing in the regional semifinals to English Valleys.
