WACO?s Skyler Miller was recognized by the Iowa Newspaper Association as an all-state selection, according to the lists released by the INA on Tuesday morning.
The senior was chosen as a Class A second-team offensive lineman.
Miller was the backbone of the WACO offensive line, which paved the way for 36 rushing touchdowns this season and helped the Warriors to a season record of 6-4.
?I think he?s very deserving; he did a nice job for us this year, and I?m glad he got recognized for that,? said WACO Coach Chad Edeker.
The lineman has already received first team all-district and All-Golden Triangle News Service honors for his efforts.
Miller also recorded a team-high 73 tackles at linebacker for the Warriors this year.
WACO earned a playoff berth for its fourth-place, 6-3 finish in Class A District 5. The Warriors ended the season when they fell in their first-round playoff game to Lynnville-Sully.
