Wapello blanks Highland volleyball
RIVERSIDE — Wapello notched a sweep of Highland in Super Conference North Division volleyball at Highland Tuesday.
Emily Hemphill led Wapello with 17 digs, and she was 10 of 19 hitting with one error. Serah Shafer had five ace serves in 18 attempts. Lyv Malone served 16 times in the third game to finish out the night.
Wapello is 12-7, 3-0 North while Highland is 4-4, 2-2. The Huskies play at Winfield-Mount Union Thursday.
