CLINTON, N.Y. ? Fairfield High School graduate and basketball player Serena Ward helped the Hamilton College Continentals win their third straight game, 77-52, against the Rochester Institute of Technology Tigers in a non-conference contest at Hamilton?s Margaret Bundy Scott Field House Saturday.
Ward scored 14 points by connecting on four three-pointers. She also made four assists, which is a personal best. This is her second year as a member of the Continentals.
The Continentals held the Tigers to just seven points over the first 11 minutes of the second half and opened up their biggest lead at 67-33 midway through the period.
Hamilton is 6-4 now on the season. Hamilton plays Amherst on Friday.
