Warrior boys claim fourth straight win

With a 1-3 start to the season against tough competition, the Warriors have now won four straight with a 90-59 victory over West Burlington on Tuesday.
The Warriors opened up a 52-25 halftime lead and continued building on to the advantage with an 18-point third period and 20-point fourth.

?I thought our defense created a lot of opportunities to score,? said Van Buren head coach Fred Parsons. ?We got some good outlet passes on the fast break leading to points.?
Elliott Remick scored 31 points with six 3-pointers, Colin Weaver had 22 points, and Zach Boyd, Blake Scott and Dalton Stine scored nine each. Tom Fitzsimmons had five points, Garrett Saunders put in three and Pedrick Garrett added two points.
Van Buren will be at Cardinal Jan. 6.
