Warriors blank Bears
DANVILLE ? Garrett Saunders threw a two-hitter to help lead the Van Buren baseball team past Danville in Southeast Iowa Superconference action Tuesday.
The Warriors and Saunders blanked the Bears over five innings to post a 10-0 victory. The Warrior freshman struck out eight batters for the win.

The Warriors and Saunders blanked the Bears over five innings to post a 10-0 victory. The Warrior freshman struck out eight batters for the win.
Colin Weaver and Ty Smith both went 2 for 3, including one double and two RBI apiece. Nic Giberson smacked a triple and Jacob Wolf had one double from the plate.
The Warriors pick up their schedule tonight at Central Lee.
