Warriors defeat Highland
RIVERSIDE ? The WACO boys? basketball team held Highland to single-digit scoring in two quarters of Tuesday night?s basketball game to walk away with the win, 50-39.
Justin Freyenberger scored 11 points to lead the Warriors and Alan Hesseltine came off the bench to add 10. Klinton Garrett scored nine, Christian Roth put in eight and Tyler Ayers, also coming off the bench, chipped in seven.

RIVERSIDE ? The WACO boys? basketball team held Highland to single-digit scoring in two quarters of Tuesday night?s basketball game to walk away with the win, 50-39.
Justin Freyenberger scored 11 points to lead the Warriors and Alan Hesseltine came off the bench to add 10. Klinton Garrett scored nine, Christian Roth put in eight and Tyler Ayers, also coming off the bench, chipped in seven.
Freyenberger was also the rebound leader with seven boards. Roth and Garrett pulled down six each.
Roth dished four assists and Ayers had five steals.
The girls didn?t fare as well against the Huskies, dropping a narrow decision, 42-39.
The Warrior teams will take the floor again Friday, when they host W-MU. The girls? game starts at 6 p.m.
