Washington 7th grade boys finish Fairfield meet in second place

The Washington seventh grade boys track team scored enough team points to finish the Fairfield meet in second place Tuesday, May 2, with a total of seven complete teams participating.

Finishing in first place in discus was Kole Williams with a distance of 93 feet 1 inch. The team of James Medrano, Lucas Kroll, Quinn Wubbena and Ethan Zieglowsky took first in the shuttle hurdle relay with a time of 1:16.69.

Jacob Miller had a time of 1:01.95 in the 400-meter dash to take first place. He finished the 100-meter dash in second place with a time of 12.70 while Kasen Bailey, Kroll, Logan Frazer and Zieglowsky finished the 4x400-meter relay in second place with a time of 4:33.22.

The next time the boys compete is Friday, May 5, where they are host to the middle school invitational at Case Field starting at 4:30 p.m.
