Washington 7th grade boys track takes first in home invite

Six different teams competed in the Washington middle school track invitational Friday, May 5, where the seventh grade hosts ended the day in first place, scoring 142 points.

James Medrano came in first in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.00.

Ethan Zieglowsky had a first-place finish in the 200-meter hurdles with a time of 32.00, followed by Evan Miller in second place with a time of 32.30.

In the 4x400-meter relay, Lucas Kross, Zieglowsky, Logan Frazer and Jacob Miller came in first with a time of 4:28.67.

The last time this season the boys take to the track is todazy, May 8, starting at 4:30 p.m. for a conference meet at Burlington.
