Washington 7th grade boys win conference meet at Burlington

The Washington seventh-grade boys track team won the conference meet at Burlington Monday, May 8, winning over the host team by six points. Washington ended the meet with 115.

Kole Williams had a first-place finish in the discus, going 87 feet 10 inches.

Kasen Bailey came in first in the high jump going 4 feet 8 inches.

James Medrano, Lucas Kroll, Quinn Wubbena and Ethan Zieglowsky finished the shuttle hurdle relay in second place with a time of 1:17.46.

Jacob Miller took second place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.40 and finished the 200-meter dash in second place with a time of 26.26.

Logan Frazer finished the 400-meter dash in second place with a time of 1:03.70.

Zieglowsky had a second-place time of 31.70 in the 200-mter hurdles

The 4x400-meter relay team of Kroll, Zieglowsky, Frazer and Miller took second with a time of 4:31.20.
