Washington 7th grade girls track finishes in 4th place at Mt. Pleasant

The Washington seventh-grade girls track team ended their season at Mt. Pleasant Monday, May 8, by taking fourth place out of seven teams participating.

Ava Turner, Lindsey Lillie, Greta Rothe and Kelsey Pacha had a first-place finish in the 1600-meter distance relay with a time of 5:02.61.

Pacha finished the 200-meter hurdles in first place with a time of 31.85 along with going 4 feet 9 inches in the high jump to take first place.

The 4x400-meter team of Elyse Hunt, Ava Turner, Rothe and Pacha had a time of 4:52.65 to take first place.

Chloe Staley finished the 800-meter run in second place with a time of 2:53.29.

Grace Schiebel had a time of 6:17.30 to take second in the 1500-meter run.

Tori Hinson, Hailey Flynn, Schiebel and Staley finished the 4x800-meter relay in second place with a time of 12:45.37.
