Washington 8th-grade boys track team places 2nd in home invite

The Washington eighth-grade boys track team held an invitational Friday, May 5.

The Demons ended the event in second place with a score of 101. Mt. Pleasant finished in first place.

First-place finishes came in the 4x200-meter relay where Reece Mayer, Thomas Bias, Wilx Witthoft and Zach Stout ended the event with a time of 1:47.82.

In the 800-meter medley relay, Wyatt Stout, Kale Adam, Witthoft and Zach Stout had a first-place time of 1:54.55.

Spencer Sotelo came in first in the 200-meter hurdles with a time of 27.30.

Wyatt Stout, Bryan Martin, Witthoft and Sotelo took first in the 4x100-mter relay with a time of 51.23.
