Washington archers place second in home tournament

The Washington Archery team hosted an archery tournament at the middle school Saturday.
The Washington High School team placed second with a score of 3,309.
Samantha Mellinger would score 291 points and would be first place.
Braeden Duwa would score 289 points and would place second for the team.

The Washington High School team placed second with a score of 3,309.

Braeden Duwa would score 289 points and would place second for the team.
Cody Mellinger would score 283 and would place third.
The middle school team would place first in the tournament with 3,189 points.
Lane Frana would place first with 278 points.
Ethan Heniger would place second with 275 points and Curtis Stender would place third with 273 points.
Lincoln Elementary would place second in the tournament with 2,483 points.
Sammy Jo Helfrich scored 244 points for first place.
Cash Pepper scored 240 points for second place and Kaden Reed would score 231 points for third.
The next archery tournament will be at Albia this Saturday.
