Washington archers take first in warmup tourney
The Washington archery team took part in a warm up tournament in Mount Vernon Saturday, April 29, in preparation for the upcoming nationals happening next week.
Out of six teams, the Demons finished in first place with an overall team score of 3,347.
Samantha Mellinger had the highest finish of the girls from Washington with a 289 including 21 tens.

Samantha Mellinger had the highest finish of the girls from Washington with a 289 including 21 tens.
Curtis Stender was the highest finisher in the boys competition with a score of 287, including 20 tens and Griffin Wood had a 284.
The national tournament is Thursday-Saturday, May 11-13, in Louisville, Kentucky.
