Washington archery teams take first in home tournament
The Washington archery teams were home to a tournament Saturday, Jan. 14, with all three school teams taking first place.
The top scorer on the elementary team was Makynna Morgan who shot a 249. She was first out of 31 elementary girls and was 33rd out of 107 overall.
Emmersyn Wenger came in third place and was 46th out of 107 overall scoring a 240. Miguel Torres Jr. scored a 239 and came in third place out of 30 ...

The Washington archery teams were home to a tournament Saturday, Jan. 14, with all three school teams taking first place.
The top scorer on the elementary team was Makynna Morgan who shot a 249. She was first out of 31 elementary girls and was 33rd out of 107 overall.
Emmersyn Wenger came in third place and was 46th out of 107 overall scoring a 240. Miguel Torres Jr. scored a 239 and came in third place out of 30 boys and was 56th out of 119 total.
On the middle school team, Bryan Martin scored a 280, to finish in first place out of 58 archers. He was also third out of 119 total participants.
Curtis Stender had a 279, coming in second and was fourth overall. Lane Frana had a 275 and placed fifth and was eighth overall for the day. Allison Rees came in first out of 40 for the girls with a 269.
On the high school team, Samantha Mellinger came in first place out of 36 girls scoring 292. She was also first out of 107 archers.
Cynthia Shafer-Smith had a 289, finishing second for the girls and was second overall. Mitchell Driscoll came in second place out of 31 boys and was second overall out of 119 with a 282.
