Washington bowling competes in Arrowhead Bowl
The Demons bowled against Keokuk and West Burlington

KEOKUK — The Washington boys and girls bowling team took a trip south on Tuesday evening to participate in the Arrowhead Bowl, hosted by Keokuk and featuring West Burlington.
Keokuk was the outright winner in both the boys and girls competition.
In the boys race, the Chiefs won with a score of 2899. The Demons followed in second with a score of 2418 and West Burlington finished third with 2245.
Despite not finishing in first, the Demons still saw success. Ethan Zieglowsky was the top bowler of the day, finishing with 479 total pins. Caleb Zieglowsky bowled the next highest score for Washington with a score of 349, good enough for sixth. Cole Anderson finished ninth with 315 total pins. Quentin Howard placed thirteenth with 278 pins and Ismat Abdurahimov tallied 216 total pins for sixteenth.
On the girls side of things, Keokuk took first with a score of 2875. West Burlington picked up second with 1544 and Washington finished third with a score of 717.
The Demons had just two girls bowl in the competition. Leigha Heisdorffer finished with 307 total pins and a seventh place finish. Tatum Peterson bowled 207, good for an eleventh place finish.
