Washington bowling teams face off at Keokuk Tuesday
The Washington bowling teams took part in a makeup meet from yesterday, Jan. 17, at Keokuk. The boys team won their meet 2,754 to 2,640 while the girls lost 1,873 to 2,502.
Leading the boys toward the win was Collin Zear, who rolled a 252 and 242 en route to a 494.

The Washington bowling teams took part in a makeup meet from yesterday, Jan. 17, at Keokuk. The boys team won their meet 2,754 to 2,640 while the girls lost 1,873 to 2,502.
Leading the boys toward the win was Collin Zear, who rolled a 252 and 242 en route to a 494.
Kylan Gillette had a 243 and 159 for a 402 followed by Bailey Curtis with a 331 (168, 163), Maclain Leyden with a 328 (137, 191), and Tucker Renoux had a 294 (179, 115).
In the Baker games, Washington rolled a 905 and Keokuk scored an 837.
For the girls, Trista Kelly led the team, having a 147 and 165 for a 312 total. Taylor Northup had a 278 (135, 143), Bailey Brown rolled a 118 and 141 for a 259 total.
Dawsen Schluetter scored a 246 (118, 128) and Taylor Janecek had a 231 (102, 129). Keokuk won the Baker games 773 to 547.
Both teams face off at Sigourney today beginning at 3 p.m. and will play at home Saturday, starting at 2 p.m. against Mt. Pleasant.
