Washington bowling teams in SEC tournament
Both of the Washington bowling teams joined three other schools in the SEISC tournament at Iris Lanes in Mt. Pleasant Saturday, Feb. 11. Both Demon teams ended up in fourth place for the day.
For the boys, they rolled a 2,745 total, five pins behind Mt. Pleasant.
Keokuk came in second with a 2,778 and Fairfield won with a 2,883.

Fairfield finished in second place with a 2,488 and Keokuk took the title with a 2,672.
Collin Zear was the top bowler out of all the boys rolling a 258 and 246 for a 504 total, becoming gold medalist for the day.
Bailey Curtis was the second top Washington bowler with a 366 (166, 200). Tucker Renoux had a 178 and 166 for a 344.
Kylan Gillette had a 325 (156, 169), Maclain Leyden had a 305 (150, 155) and Kolton Segebart rolled a 149 and 132 for a total of 281.
For the girls, Trista Kelly was the top Washington bowler with a 284 (138, 146) followed by AnnaMarie Walter with a 283 (150, 133).
Taylor Janecek rolled a 97 and 143 for a 240. Taylor Northup had a 131 and 97 for a 228, Dawsen Schluetter had a 212 (113, 99) and Rylie Swart had a 196 (83, 113).
