Washington bowling teams split wins against Keokuk
The Washington bowling teams were host to Keokuk Saturday, Jan. 28, where the Demon boys won their match and the girls fell to the Chiefs.
The boys had a final score 2,759 to 2,468 and the Demon girls ended the day at 1,910 to 2,524.
Collin Zear led the boys team with a 248 and 194 for a 442 in the individual rounds.

The boys had a final score 2,759 to 2,468 and the Demon girls ended the day at 1,910 to 2,524.

Kylan Gillette followed with a 391 (192, 199), Tucker Renoux rolled a 375 (179, 196), Kolton Segebart had a 364 (213, 151) and Bailey Curtis ended the day with a 170 and 168 for a 338 total.
In the Baker games, Washington won with an 849 to Keokuk?s 746.
Dawsen Schluetter took the lead for the girls? team having a total of 152 in the first game and a 127 in the second for a 279 total.
Taylor Northup followed with a 269 (113, 156), Bailey Brown rolled a 101 and 156 for a 257, Trista Kelly had a 246 (127, 119) and Riley Swart had a 226 (104, 122).
The girls had a total of 633 in the Baker games, falling behind Keokuk, who rolled a 774.
Both teams have their next meet against Fairfield at home Saturday, Feb. 4, beginning at 2 p.m.
