Washington bowling teams take to the lanes in Muscatine
The Washington bowling teams were part of an invitational tournament in Muscatine Saturday, Jan. 7, with six different schools participating.
The boys finished the day in third place with a 2,274, coming in behind first-place Camanche and second-place Louisa-Muscatine.
Washington?s Collin Zear had the second highest score of the boys with a 420, just three pins behind leader Connor Abbott from Camanche.

The boys finished the day in third place with a 2,274, coming in behind first-place Camanche and second-place Louisa-Muscatine.

Rounding out the other individual Washington bowlers? scores were Kylan Gillette with a 374, Tucker Renoux had a 356, Bailey Curtis rolled a 337 and Kolton Segebart ended with a 332. In the Baker games, Washington rolled a 955.
The girls ended up in sixth place with a final score of 1,797. Host L-M took first place with a 2,912. Trista Kelly led the Demons with a 332, next was Bailey Brown with a 209.
Both Dawsen Schluetter and Taylor Northup rolled a 208 and Taylor Janacek had a 206. The girls rolled a total of a 634 in the Baker games.
The next meet for the teams is Saturday, Jan. 14, at Fairfield beginning at 1:30 p.m.
