Washington boys? bowling team falls to Sigourney Wednesday
The Washington bowling teams were host to Sigourney Wednesday, Dec. 7, where the boys? team lost by less than 100 pins, 2,488 to 2,399.
Sigourney girls did not have a team, so the Demons ended the day with a total of 1,667 pins.
For the boys, Collin Zear led the team with a 168 and 169 for a 337 in the individual rounds.
Zear was followed by Kolton Segebart who had a 147 and 169 for a 316.

Tucker Renoux rolled a 305 (152, 153), Kylan Gillette had a 295 (148, 147) and Drake Schluetter notched a 337 (168, 169).
In the Baker games, Washington won 886 to 791.
Taylor Northup took the lead for the girls? team having a total of 141 in the first game and a 135 in the second for a 276 total.
Dawsen Schluetter had a 218 (106, 112), Bailey Brown followed with a 193 (98, 95), Taylor Janacek rolled a 191 (84, 107).
Rylie Swart had a 94 and 89 en route to a 183 and Katie Donnolly had a 79 and 104 for a total of 183.
The girls had a total of 606 in the Baker games.
Both teams will bowl in Mt. Pleasant Saturday, at the Iris Bowling Center beginning at 1 p.m.
