Washington boys golf wins in Mt. Pleasant
Roths go 1-2 individually, Fairfield takes 2nd, MP 3rd

MT. PLEASANT — The Southeast Conference boys golf season told the same old story on Thursday in Mt. Pleasant, as once again the Washington Demons.
This time, the Demons won with a final stroke total of 145. Fairfield took second again, with a 161, and Mt. Pleasant finished third again with a 171.
The Demons had the Top-2 players of the evening, as Roman Roth won medalist honors with a 34, and Rajan Roth finished second, at 35.
Drew Conrad and Luke Beenblossom both turned in a 38 for Washington to wrap up the team’s scorers. Teague Mayer shot a 41, and Isaac Vetter finished at 44.
Fairfield was led by Dev Eisner, who shot a 38 on the day. Max Weaton, Sam Weaton and Austin Lisk all finished at 41. Nile Christensen shot 42, and Landon Nodurft ended at 48.
Mt. Pleasant’s Nick Matheney shot a 37 to lead his squad. Nate Dismang wasn’t far behind, finishing at 38. Reece Coffman shot a 46. Izaac Zihlman shot 50. Jason Rich ended at 52, and Ben Meador turned in a 53.
The boys golf teams will be in Washington on Monday.
