Washington boys wallop Keokuk

WASHINGTON — The Washington boys basketball team won every quarter in a 71-54 Southeast Conference defeat of Keokuk on Friday night.
The Demons were sharp all night long in the final conference game of the season. Washington won the first quarter 18-11, led 34-23 at halftime and held a 53-37 advantage into the fourth.
Ethan Patterson put up a team-high 31 points in the win, and also collected five assists. Aden Six finished with 16 points and seven rebounds. Logan McDole scored 12 points. Ajay Six had six points and nine rebounds, and Avery Six scored six points of his own.
Washington is now 11-8 overall. The Demons finished tied in second in the SEC with a 7-3 record.
Washington’s next game will be on Thursday night at Solon.
