Washington drops game to Burlington, 44-42

The Washington girls' team took on Burlington on their home court Tuesday night.
They would lose by two points 42 - 44.
?The kids played very hard and kept fighting back in the game, but just in the end didn't make the plays we needed to win,? head coach Jordan Bentley said.
There were some players who were injured and unable to play during Thursday's game.

There were some players who were injured and unable to play during Thursday?s game.
?We need everyone just to step a little bit,? Bentley said. ?We are still working on taking care of the ball. Overall it was great game for us to learn some things.?
The next game for the girls will be against Solon Saturday night at Solon.
They will return home Monday and will play Iowa City Liberty High.
