FORT MADISON — For the second time this season, the Washington girls basketball team failed to put up enough points to hang with the Fort Madison Bloodhouds.
Fort Madison led from start to finish to upend the Demons 55-30 on Friday night in Southeast Conference play.
Fort Madison led the game 14-6 after one quarter, 26-13 at halftime and 47-20 after three periods.
It was the Demons’ second loss in a row after a two-game winning streak the week before.
Washington is now 3-15 overall. They will play at Williamsburg on Monday night.
