Washington girls golf team wins triangular at Mt. Pleasant
The Washington girls golf team won a triangular at Mt. Pleasant Friday, May 12, after shooting their lowest round of the year, with a 362.
?It?s an outstanding score,? says coach Leonard Kull.
?We had a 175 after the first round and came back with a 187 in the second round.

The Washington girls golf team won a triangular at Mt. Pleasant Friday, May 12, after shooting their lowest round of the year, with a 362.

Winning medalist honors was Sarah Nacos with a 79. Megan Strabala was runner-up with an 87.
Allison Vogel shot a 96. Carly Burlingame shot about 15 stokes less than her average ending the day with a 100.
Both Emily Waite and Kaitlin Mitchell shot their lowest rounds of the year as well. Emily had a 115 and Kaitlin shot a 130.
?We were comfortable at the meet, played a nice round and scored well,? Kull said.
The girls took part in a conference meet at Fairfield today.
Before today?s meet Kull said, ?I hope things can continue to build momentum as the season gets ready to wind down.?
Host team Mt. Pleasant ended the day with a 395 and Williamsburg had a 421.
