The Washington junior varsity boys? basketball team suffered its first loss of the season on Dec. 4 when it fell to Muscatine at home 44-32.

Juniors Brett Wright and Mason Quigley scored seven points apiece to lead the Demons (3-1). Wright also grabbed eight rebounds, and Quigley had four steals. Junior Noah Lebsack added six points and three rebounds, and junior Elijah Wood had four points and three boards. Sophomores Isaiah Zuehlke and Grant Mark chipped in two points apiece. Junior Walker Breard pulled down three rebounds and blocked two shots.
