Washington lost to Southeast Conference rival Mt. Pleasant 61-49 in a junior varsity boys? basketball game on Feb. 8.
Sophomore Blake Weidman scored 13 points to lead the Demons, and he also had four rebounds and three assists. Junior Walker Breard added 12 points, eight rebounds and five blocks. Sophomore Gage Redlinger had nine points and six rebounds in the contest, and junior Mason Quigley had eight points and three assists. Junior Brett Wright chipped in five points, and junior Noah Lebsack had two points, three steals and three blocks.
Washington fell to 15-4 with the loss and finished 5-3 in the SEC this season.
