Washington looks for third straight win at Assumption
Demons head to Davenport searching for sixth win

Washington has been on a tear this season. The Demons have amassed five wins thus far and will be looking for one more on Friday.
This week the Demons (5-1) will head up to Davenport to square off with the Knights of Assumption (1-5).
Washington enters week seven off a 39-28 win over Mt. Pleasant, while Assumption fell to Mount Vernon 46-14.
Still Washington’s lone loss on the season came against then No. 10 Grinnell. That was a game that was 17-0 at the half.
For Washington, Logan McDole has thrown for 673 yards and nine touchdowns, with zero interceptions.
On the ground, Kael Williams has rushed for 450 yards and six touchdowns. McDole follows with 247 yards and four scores.
Mason Morgan has caught 18 passes for 434 yards and three touchdowns. He’s averaging 24.1 yards per catch. Jayfred Espinosa follows with 17 catches for 201 yards and three scores. Williams has caught three touchdowns as well.
Jude Carter has amassed 40.5 tackles for the Demons. Keider Gomez Valdez has 9.5 tackle for a loss with three sacks. Blaine Rees follows with seven tackles for a loss and three sacks.
For Assumption, Braylon Thomsen has 652 yards passing and three touchdown.
Ben Yeggy leads on the ground with 482 yards and four scores. Thomsen follows with 164 yards and five touchdowns as well.
On the receiving side of things, four have over 100 yards. Brady Curoe (180 yards), Synceare Simons (125 yards), Ben Yeggy (116 yards) and Braylon Shovlain (109 yards).
Joey Funderburk (47 tackles) and Luke Argo (47 tackles) lead.
Friday nights game is set to begin at 7:30 at Assumption High School.
