Washington looks to bounce back against Grinnell
Demons set to host Tigers Friday night at Case Field

WASHINGTON — Coming into week four of the Iowa high school football season, the Washington Demons will be looking for redemption.
After a tough loss to Southeast Conference rival Fairfield 23-20 last week, the Demons (1-2) will be looking to get back to .500 with a win against the Tigers of Grinnell (2-1).
Not only would it be a bounce back victory, but it would mark the first win for Washington over Grinnell dating back to 2010.
The Tigers have won four straight over the Demons, narrowly edging them 28-21 a year ago.
Leading Washington under center thus far has been Logan McDole. McDole has embraced his first season in the starting roll, throwing for 366 yards and four touchdowns.
McDole is leading the Demons on the ground as well, rushing for 245 yards and three scores.
Kael Williams has been in the backfield a ton for Washington. Williams has rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns.
Receiving wise, Mason Morgan has amassed 265 yards in three games on 13 catches with four touchdowns.
Luke Beenblossom has six catches on the season, Alec Ulin three, while Williams and Conner Leyden each have two.
Defensively, Casen Evans has been a force. Evans has 23 total tackles thus far. Chase Greiner follows with 15.5.
For Grinnell, Brady Coffman leads through the air with 348 yards and four touchdowns.
In the running game, Kinnick Johnson has 109 yards and one touchdown. Coffman comes in with 82 yards and two scores.
Carson Penyich has 107 receiving yards with one score. Evan Mahoney has 93 yards with one touchdown as well.
On the defensive side of the ball, Logan McDonald leads with 19 tackles.
