Washington middle school girls track teams host Max Cousins Relays

The Washington seventh- and eighth-grade girls track team was host to the Max Cousins Relays Tuesday, April 11.

The seventh-grade 4x800-meter relay team of Tori Hinson, Ellie Anderson, Chloe Staley and Grace Schiebel took first place with a time of 12:51.80.

Ava Turner, Lindsey Lillie, Elyse Hunt and Kelsey Pacha completed the 1600-meter distance medley in first place with a time of 4:54.16.

Pacha also took first place in the 200-meter hurdles, with a time of 30.30 seconds.

The girls finished the meet in fourth place.

In eighth-grade competition, the shuttle hurdle relay team of Kelli Dallmeyer, Ava Reed, Brynn Beenblossom and Sophia Kleese came in second with a time of 1:24.29.

Taylor Brinning, Sydney Cuddeback, Trina Griffin and Alivia Emry completed the 4x800-meter relay in 12:22.74 to finish in second place.

As a team, the eighth-grade girls came in sixth place.
