Washington middle school wrestlers host first home meet
The Washington middle school wrestling team hosted Burlington, Fairfield and Mt. Pleasant for its first home meet of the season on Dec. 11. The Demons won 28 of their 46 matches on the night.

Trey Van Weelden, Kyle Anderson, Chandler Reid, Tanner Murphy, Austin Hazelett, Andrew Waite, Jacob Hall, Dakota Kron, Cody Mellinger, Clayton Pacha and Collin Murphy each went 2-0 at the home meet. Seth Townsend, Gabe Greiner, Alex Latcham, Chris Dickle, Colton Anderson and Wil Marek each went 1-1 on the night.
?The whole night went well,? Washington head coach Shawn Ellingson said. ?We had a great crowd and the wrestlers fed off that. They won 28 matches and only lost 18. Overall, it was a great night in front of our home crowd.?
