Washington, Mt. Pleasant girls compete at Oskaloosa Invite
Demons take top spot in Invitational, Panthers follow in 11th

OSKALOOSA — Both the Washington and Mt. Pleasant girls golf teams headed to Oskaloosa on Thursday to compete in the Oskaloosa Invite.
For Washington it was yet another win on the season as the Demons picked up the team win with a low of 347 points.
Mt. Pleasant finished 11th in the competition with 470 points.
Winterset, Norwalk, Pella, Centerville, Albia, Grinnell, Oskaloosa, Knoxville and Ottumwa all took part as well.
Along with the team win, the Demons also finished with the individual winner in Makenna Conrad.
The senior continues to play some outstanding golf, finishing with an 76 after 18 holes of action. Conrad was the only golfer to shoot below a 80.
Teammate Kaylin Long tied for third with an 88. Adalyn Long followed close behind with a 90 for fifth.
Mallary Johnson shot a 93 in the meet. Haley Mitchell carded a 97 and Alecia Goff posted a 101.
For Mt. Pleasant, Kylie Walderbach led the way with a 99. That put her in 16th.
The next lowest score shot by a Panther was Elaina Holtkamp with a 116. Ashlynn Beauchamp finished with a 124 and Felicity Metcalf ended with 131.
Both Washington and Mt. Pleasant will be back on Monday with Southeast Conference action returning in Burlington at Flint Hills Golf Course.
