The Washington seventh-grade girls? basketball team lost a pair of games at Keokuk on Feb. 11.
Keokuk won the A game 22-12. Sarah Nacos scored 10 of Washington?s 12 points and she also pulled down five rebounds. Brooke Stout added two points, four rebounds and two steals for the Demons (5-3). Keokuk won the A game 22-12. Sarah Nacos scored 10 of Washington?s 12 points and she also pulled down five rebounds. Brooke Stout added two points, four rebounds and two steals for the Demons (5-3). Morgan Brinning pulled down a team-high six rebounds, and she also had a pair of steals. Allison Vogel contributed four rebounds and two steals, and Reagan Caffery had three rebounds and a theft. Megan Strabala had two rebounds and two steals in the game, and Baylee Stalder also grabbed a pair of rebounds. Megan Mitchell and Jessica Hora both hauled in a rebound.
Keokuk blew out Washington 45-14 in the B game. Caffery scored four points to lead the Demons (1-6-1), and she also had a pair of steals. Hora, Mackenzie Beam and Kristen Twinam each had two points and two rebounds in the game, and Makenna Rich had two points and a rebound. Strabala had two points and a steal. Stalder pulled down a team-high three rebounds and also had a steal. Kaylee Enfield had two rebounds in the contest, while Michaela Hoffman and Alexis Edwards both had one.
